End of Life LanSchool Classic Chromebook Student
If you want to continue on Chromebooks past ChromeOS version 132, it is required for you to update your settings in your Google Workspace Admin account.

This does not affect LanSchool Air users, or LanSchool Classic users with Windows and Mac devices.
How do you know if this change impacts you?
- Verify you're using LanSchool Classic. In LanSchool, go to ‘Help’ and ‘About.’ If it says LanSchool Teacher Console, the software is LanSchool Classic.

- Verify your students are using Chromebooks. If you're using LanSchool Classic to monitor any student Chromebook device, you will be impacted.
What are the options for Google Chromebook customers who use LanSchool Classic for classroom management?
1. Transition from LanSchool Classic to LanSchool Air now.
LanSchool Air includes all the most-used features of LanSchool Classic, including a new AI capability to help keep students on task. LanSchool Air is compatible with all Chromebook, Mac, Windows and mixed-device environments.
Transitioning to LanSchool Air is simple, and our team is available to guide you through the process. We can provide training and create a roadmap to support your transition. Talk to our team about transitioning to LanSchool Air.
2. Continue to use LanSchool Classic on your Chromebook devices until January 2025.
You can continue using LanSchool Classic with Chromebook devices while you plan the transition to LanSchool Air. Our team is available to offer any training and support if you plan to transition prior to this change.
3. Continue to use LanSchool Classic on your Chromebook devices after January 2025 by allowing Native Client in your Google Workspace Admin Settings at any time.
