Adding the LanSchool Teacher Console Shortcut to Desktop

Adding the LanSchool Teacher Console Shortcut to Desktop

Overview

By default, the LanSchool Teacher Console will always be running the Windows system tray. To make it easier for teachers to launch, consider creating a shortcut for the LanSchool Teacher Console to place on the Desktop or pin to the Taskbar.

Creating LanSchool Teacher Shortcut

  1. Open the Start Menu and locate LanSchool Teacher.

  2. Right Click on LanSchool Teacher and select Open File Location.

  3. Locate the LanSchool Teacher app icon and right click and select Properties.

  4. Click on the Shortcut Tab in the LanSchool Teacher Properties window.

  5. In the Target Box, after the quotes, add a single space and type -visible at the end of the command.

  6. Then select Apply and OK.

  7. Right click on the LanSchool Teacher app icon again and Pin to Start, Pin to Taskbar, or drag it to the desktop.
