Limiting Printing

Limiting Printing

Overview

The Limit Print feature disables the student's ability to print anything shown on their device.  This feature is useful when you want to ensure that students are not printing out materials, such as test answers, that they may be tempted to share with other students.
Limiting a student's ability to print is only available on Windows or macOS student devices.

Limiting Printing on Student Devices

  1. Select one or more student thumbnails (if none are selected, all devices will be limited).
  2. Select the Limit Print button on the toolbar.
The student thumbnails will show the Limit Print icon at the bottom. When this feature is enabled, students will not be able to print to any printers installed on the device.

To allow students to print, select the Limit Print button again to toggle this feature off.
