Why can’t I see my students?

A number of issues can cause a student to not appear in the teacher console. If you are not using class lists, please see Troubleshooting Missing Student Thumbnails.

Why can’t I see my students when I load my class list?

Why are my student thumbnails showing as “Security locked out?”

How do I limit the web?

Why can’t I remotely power on my student devices?

LanSchool utilizes the native Wake-on-LAN (WoL) capabilities available on most Windows-based PC's to power on devices. For information about Wake on LAN and troubleshooting, please see, Powering On and Off Devices.
